Funds have been raised through a variety of events, from businesses, and individuals. The first private group to assist TMCI was the March FOR Hope, which was sponsored by local teachers to support a fellow teacher with cancer. This event provided funds to TMSCI for 3 years. Many Relay For Life teams also saw the need for local funds so they did joint fund raising projects for both the American Cancer Society Relay For Life and TMCSI. Many groups such as Bottineau school teachers and students, students from SADD of Belcourt High School, Bottineau Girl Scouts, American Legion Post 42, First Lutheran Church of Bottineau, United Parish, Metighoshe Ministries, Shanty Lane, Dakota College at Bottineau, the Car Show plus many other groups have raised funds for TMSCI their support is appreciated and needed.
Local businesses, too many to name them all, have also supported TMSCI some of theses businesses include Pride Dairy, Mattern Meats, Family Bakery, Bottineau Farmers Elevator, Good Samaritan Society-Bottineau, and may businesses who want to remain animus their help is also greatly appreciated.
Many individuals have also donated to TMSCI either through memorials, fund raising events or just donations.
TMSCI also does its own fund raising events such as the Roast Beef Sundaes, selling food at a variety of auction sales, a silent auction sale at the car show, and selling ice cream at events. TMSCI is actively seeking its own signature event to raise funds.
